I Survived the Eclipse Original Painting by Caryn Cast

The other day on the NYC subway, I overheard a lady telling her friend that she was canceling her tax appointment to go on an eclipse date. So I decided to create this lady as a painting : ) She is featured with the 2024 eclipse-style glasses, a blue moon cosmic cone from Pav’s Creamery, eclipse nails and tshirt. She’s ready for the big event. This painting was created in pastels on heavy pastel paper. It measures 21” X 14” and comes in a handpainted black frame with a hint of black sparkle.
