Real name: DJ Sumirock (real name Sumiko Iwamura), an 84-year old house DJ in Tokyo, Japan. She went to DJ school at age 77 and has been performing ever since. By day, she makes dumplings at the Chinese restaurant she owns and runs in Tokyo. By night, she switches outfits and is at the club by 1am. Her favourite style is techno, but she mixes in rock, jazz, and anime soundtracks, because she “gets bored easily.”
